At Oshkosh Corporation, we live out our purpose of making a difference in people’s lives. From developing industrial technology for everyday heroes around the world to hosting community events or enabling our team members to give back as part of our paid volunteer hours program — the impact we make comes down to our time, talent and investments.
We’re committed to making a difference in the lives of those around us. Since the beginning of 2025, our team members have spent over 15,000 hours volunteering in the communities where we live and work. Our Volunteer Time Off program encourages our Oshkosh family to get involved with the causes that they care about, using their hands and hearts to volunteer at homeless shelters, pack food, mentor our youth and share their talents on nonprofit boards.
Oshkosh Foundation grants are another way that we serve our community. The Oshkosh Corporation Foundation supports four pillars: enriching youth, enhancing lives, enabling heroes and empowering our families. At the start of 2025, we’ve invested in 25 nonprofit organizations, donating $792,000 in grants to support the areas where we live and work. Grants range from operational to program support, reinforcing programs that enable access to housing, food, mentoring and mental wellbeing support for youth and veterans. The Oshkosh Cares fund, an emergency resource available to team members, empowers our families. Our scholarship program and Oshkosh Excellence Awards support youth education and reward the innovation and people-first behaviors of our team members, granting them funds to give back to a charity of their choice.
This month we celebrated the successful completion of our eighth year of Feed the Body, Feed the Soul — Oshkosh Corporation Foundation’s hunger-fighting, music-filled event. Oshkosh team members and corporate sponsors bring teams of volunteers to package food staples for families in Northeast Wisconsin and enjoy live music. This year we brought together 18 sponsors*, more than 1,200 volunteers and packaged over 224,000 pounds of rice in just 12 hours. We rallied for local food pantries and families, putting food staples in the hands of people who need them.
Additionally, the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, hosted at Lambeau Field by our Pierce business, took place on Saturday, Sept. 20. Pierce is focused on giving back to the fire industry and community, and its annual stair climb honors American heroes — all proceeds support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. This year the event raised more than $120,000 and recruited over 2,000 climbers to honor the cause.
At Oshkosh Corporation, strengthening communities and the heroes that serve them is at the heart of what we do. Through the dedication of our team members and partners, and commitment to our foundational pillars, grants and volunteering, we’re proud to make a difference in the places where we live and work.
