At Oshkosh, we care about our people and our communities. The Oshkosh Corporation Foundation provides funding to organizations, projects and programs that supports the complex issue of poverty reduction. Through enhancing lives, enriching youth and enabling heroes. We encourage collaboration among nonprofits and community partners to address these complex issues. Please review our eligibility below and refer to our giving priorities prior to applying for a grant.

Investing in youth through mentoring, development of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) skillsets and support for mental wellbeing.

Enabling heroes

Supporting everyday heroes through organizations like National Fallen Firefighters, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, The Tow Truck Survivor Fund and other nonprofit organizations dedicated to those who serve our communities.

Strengthening our internal families through programs such as Oshkosh Cares program, scholarship programs and the Oshkosh Excellence Awards.

Eligibility

To be eligible, organizations must have a tax-exempt status under IRS section 501(c)(3) and certify compliance with all applicable federal, state and local non-discrimination laws, ensuring equal opportunity for all individuals to participate in and benefit from their programs and services. Funding is prioritized in key communities where Oshkosh Corporation team members live and work.

Restrictions 

To focus on our priorities listed above, the Foundation will not support:

  • Individuals for personal needs or hardships 
  • Athletic teams or recreational groups.  
  • Hospitals, healthcare systems, or medical research organizations 
  • Religious classified organizations
  • Capital campaigns 
  • Endowments 
  • Conferences or advertising space 
  • Multi-year requests 

Grant applications are typically reviewed within 8 weeks after the due date. If you have questions or would like to discuss the feasibility of your grant request, please contact our community engagement team.
