At Oshkosh, we care about our people and our communities.  The Oshkosh Corporation Foundation supports basic needs and encourages people and nonprofits to collaborate to find solutions to solve the complex issues of poverty in the communities in which we live and work. Eligibility and giving priorities for organizations looking to apply for a grant from the Foundation are listed below.

Eligibility

Our grant program is designed to embrace the diversity in our communities. Organizations must have a tax-exempt status under IRS section 501(c)(3) and certify that they maintain a non-discrimination policy that ensures the organization does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, disability, marital status, genetic information, veteran status or other factors that are protected by law.

Priorities

The Foundation’s giving priorities support the following areas:

  • Basic needs and self-sufficiency.
  • Youth mentoring.
  • Industry connected nonprofits.

 

Restrictions

To focus on our priorities listed above, the Foundation will not support:

  • Organizations not categorized at 501(c)(3) entities.
  • Individuals.
  • Athletic groups.
  • Medical entities or research.
  • Religious organizations.
  • Capital campaigns.
  • Endowments.
  • Conference advertising space.
  • Multi-year requests.
