Moving communities forward: Good to Give Back 2026
May 27, 2026
Each year, Oshkosh team members come together through our Good to Give Back initiative, dedicating time and talent to support the communities where we live and work.
What began as a week-long volunteer effort led by JLG® and Jerr-Dan® team members during Oshkosh Corporation’s 100-year anniversary has grown into a global initiative. Since its inception, more than 15,000 Oshkosh team members have participated, contributing to efforts such as community improvement projects, food distribution, mentoring youth and environmental cleanups.
Today, Good to Give Back engages team members around the world in volunteering their time and talent. In 2026, 1,840 volunteers across 64 locations and 16 countries contributed more than 6,400 volunteer hours through 144 events supporting communities around the world. In addition, team members helped raise more than $6,000 to support local causes. Together, these efforts once again made a meaningful difference through service, partnership and people-first action.

Stories of giving back
Good to Give Back extends beyond the work itself and reflects the broader commitment to giving back at Oshkosh Corporation. Team members and community partners shared how these efforts supported their communities and created lasting results.
These stories reflect why Good to Give Back matters, making a difference in ways that continue beyond the day of service and reinforce the impact of giving back.
- “Beyond the activity itself, I believe there is something deeper behind it. On a more personal level, it’s truly fulfilling to help people in need. Realizing that even a small contribution from us can make a much bigger difference to them is very powerful. It’s also heartwarming to see how grateful they are, and it really makes you reflect on how fortunate we are.” — Javier Galdeano, JLG - Netherlands
- “I volunteer a lot because it "fills my cup". I usually always leave feeling good and energized that I was able to help folks in my community. I especially love the community clothes closet, as I was a kid who got a lot of hand me downs growing up, and didn't always have a lot of choice around what I got to wear. My family growing up received a lot of aid like this from similar organizations and neighbors, so this is my way of giving back and paying it forward.” — Ethan Stoecker, Talent Acquisition Coordinator Lead, Corporate
- “We are so grateful to the Oshkosh Corporation for their support and encouraging volunteerism! Because of them, we were able to get 33,500 diapers packed and ready for distribution. Those diapers will support 670 babies in our community to help keep them clean, dry and healthy.” — Kimberly Clark, Eastern Wisconsin Diaper Bank
